I use many techniques "in camera" as well as in the digital darkroom to capture the beauty of the world in which we live. Tom Rothenberg is an independent photographer in the DC Metropolitan area who has earned considerable recognition for his freelance and professional work.
Tom’s artistic style is contemporary and distinctive with a pop of flare. His work includes rural and urban landscapes, special events and personalized portraits. His pieces have been exhibited in the Fredericksburg area art galleries and cannot be missed. Tom has a passion for learning new techniques as well as providing photography training and sharing with others. Although he takes his work very seriously, Tom is very easy going and certainly doesn’t take himself too serious. Tom believes that comfort allows for creativity and innovation crafts art.
While Tom is not capturing images, he is spending time with his family of 7: wife, Allie; daughters, Nicki and Megan; son, Josh; Ibizan Hound, Blitzen and German Short-Haired Pointers, Max and Maci. He is now in the early stages of a personal project to create a series of images inspired by his 8 year old son, Josh, called “The Faces of Autism”. He also hopes to publish and upcoming eBook that will focus on “The traveling
landscape photographer”. He and his family live in Fredericksburg, VA.
